Community Action Team Introduced to Lockhart Town Council

Team will help clean up, patrol town

The Lockhart Town Council held their regular monthly meeting last night with special guests attending. County Council members Ben Ivey and Tracie Farr Campbell were on hand for the meeting, as well as a handful of community members. Most of the meeting was given over to Sheriff Jeff Bailey, who gave an update on the activities of the Union County Sheriff’s Office and announced a special program his office would be starting soon. Explaining the program is Deputy Chris Patterson, who came up with the idea for what is being called the Community Action Team:
