City encourages October 31; county leaves it to neighborhoods
With Halloween falling on Sunday, citizens have been wondering whether trick or treating will be held on Sunday or perhaps moved to Saturday.
WBCU News reached out to Supervisor Frank Hart, who said the county government isn’t taking a position on it and will leave it to individuals and neighborhoods as to their preference.
City Administrator Joe Nichols said the city has no plans to encourage a change, so as far as the city is concerned, Halloween is on Sunday, so trick or treating should be done then.
A number of events are planned around the county both days, and we will tell you about as many as we know of in tomorrow’s newscast.
