Group using former bank in Jonesville
FoodShare Union County continues to offer boxes of fresh produce, much of it locally grown, for sale. From now through at least May, they have a new phone number and pickup location for the boxes. To place an order, call 864-818-4244. Produce boxes can be picked up at 934 Forest Street in Jonesville at the old Park Sterling Bank, in front of the Jonesville Dollar General. For the next box, get orders in by Friday, and the pick-up date will be Thursday, December 16, from 12-3 p.m.
Small boxes of produce are $15, and large boxes are $20. For SNAP participants, the cost of a small box is $5, and a large box will be $10. FoodShare Union County is powered by the RobinHood Group, Union County Library System, and Rebekah’s Harvest.
