Appointment needed for screening children ages 3-5, others not in public schools
If you have concerns about your young child’s speech, hearing, vision, or development, this event may help. The Union County Schools Office of Special Services has announced its annual Child Find Day. Free screenings for speech, hearing, vision, and development are given on that day. This year’s event is scheduled for next Friday, August 27, at Foster Park Elementary School. Hours for the screenings that day will be 8-11:30 a.m. and 12:30-2 p.m. Screenings are for children ages 3-5, and other children not presently enrolled in the public schools may also participate. A parent or guardian must accompany the child. For more information or to make an appointment, call 429-1735.
