Honda sedan tried to pass the stalled vehicle and hit the pedestrian

The South Carolina Highway Patrol has informed WBCU News that a fatal wreck happened last night. According to Master Trooper Gary Miller of the SC Highway Patrol, at around 8:11 p.m., a pedestrian was struck and killed by a 2009 Honda two-door sedan on Highway 215 near Lukesville Road. The pedestrian was working on a disabled vehicle in the road northbound on Highway 215 when the Honda, also traveling north on 215, attempted to pass the stalled vehicle, striking the person in the roadway. The Union County Coroner’s Office has not yet identified the person who was killed.
