Executive session scheduled at beginning of meeting; light agenda set for open session
The Union County Board of School Trustees will hold their December meeting tonight in Room 600 of the Union County Career and Technology Center. Normally, their monthly meeting takes place on the fourth Monday of the month, but with the Christmas holiday, the meeting will take place on the second Monday, instead.
After the formalities, the board will move into executive session at the beginning of the meeting. They will be discussing a contractual matter, a student discipline issue, a personnel matter, and a legal matter.
Back in open session, Superintendent Joey Haney will give his updates. Personnel Director Jeff Stribble will present signing bonus certification areas for the 2022-2023 school year. The recommendation is that the board approve it. Stribble will then present the personnel report for approval. Afterwards, the meeting is scheduled to adjourn.
It will be six weeks before the board is scheduled to meet again, on January 24, 2022.
