Food, vendors, live DJ, vaccination clinic, and more planned
This Saturday, May 27, the second-annual Big Carlisle Cookout will take place. It will be held at the Carlisle Recreation Playground. They will have food, vendors, live DJ, and a lot of fun. Those attending are invited to bring a grill, tent, and chairs, and cook out with everyone there. It will be a family-friendly event. VaxUp South Carolina with Carolina for All will sponsor a COVID outreach clinic at the event for those interested. They will have free COVID shots for everyone, including the newest booster for those 65 and older or immune-compromised. They will hold a drawing for a $100 gas card that one lucky vaccine recipient will receive. They will be at the playground on Pinckney and Cambridge streets Saturday from 10-2.
