Lesesne "Rambo" Scott​

​

Lesesne "Rambo" Scott went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 15th. Lesesne is described by those who knew him as lively, good-humored, kind, and as a man of strong character.

 

He leaves behind his wife of 25 years, Libby Scott; one daughter, Anna Scott of Jonesville; one sister, Nanette Hughes (Keith) of Moore; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He was

predeceased by his mother, Joyce Garner Scott; and his father, Lewis Lesesne Scott Sr.

 

He was a proud 1982 graduate of Dorman High School, and throughout his career, he held positions at Mascot Homes, Packaging and Specialty Papers, and Molded Pulp Packaging. A longtime member of New Hope United Methodist Church, he was also a member of the board of trustees and the finance committee. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman, spending many years as a hunting guide to help others find the fulfillment he also got from the sport. Lesesne was a devoted family man who accumulated many friends and family members in his 61 years of life that will continue his legacy of love and laughter.

 

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 23rd, at 2 p.m., with the receiving of friends beginning at 1 p.m. at New Hope United Methodist Church in Jonesville.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Lesesne to New Hope United Methodist Church, with "social hall window replacement fund" on the memo line, PO Box 787, Jonesville, SC 29353.

Mary Ella Bobo Diamond​

​

​Mrs. Mary Ella Bobo Diamond, age 59, of Port Orange, Florida, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2025, at Port Orange Nursing and Rehab.

              

Mrs. Diamond was born on July 16, 1966, in Union, the daughter of the late William Bobo and Juanita "Dolly" Johnson Bobo Reveals.  She was a graduate of Union High School and attended Baptist College of Charleston. 

She was a member of Ascension Catholic Church in Melbourne, Florida, and was previously a member of Brown's Creek Baptist Church.

              

Surviving are a son, James "Jimmy" Diamond and wife Cindy of Daytona Beach; a grandson, Travis Owen Diamond of Daytona Beach; and special cousins: Harold Dean, James, and Hoyle Vinson.  She was predeceased by her brother, William Bruce Bobo; and her aunt and uncle, Zora and Tom Vinson.

              

Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.

Tracy Eugene Gann

 

Tracy Eugene Gann, age 60, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away on August 9, 2025, of natural causes.

 

Born April 22, 1965, Tracy was the son of the late Nancy Gault Gann of Union, SC, and the late Kenneth James Gann of California. He grew up in Union, SC, and attended Union High School. In his early years, Tracy lived in Myrtle Beach, SC, where he worked as a lifeguard. He later pursued a career in construction.

 

Tracy was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Margaret Haney; aunts, Diane Wood and Lynn Fowler; and uncles, Benny Hildebrand and Michael “Moe” Edwards. Tracy is survived by his three sons: Lance Gann, Logan Gann (Ashley), and Devon Bagwell; and his beloved grandchildren: Abby Gann, whom he affectionately called “Angel”, Alivia Bagwell, and Isaiah Bagwell. He adored his sons and grandchildren and took great pride in his family. Tracy also leaves behind two uncles, John Wood and Bruce Fowler; one aunt, Nancy Hildebrand; and nieces, cousins, and many friends, including a beloved friend, Kim Williams, who will cherish his memory.

 

He was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys and enjoyed watching motocross and NASCAR racing. He enjoyed spending his free time being with those he loved.

 

A memorial service will be held at the gravesite at Rosemont Cemetery. More details will be announced.
