Certain eligibility requirements must be met before they can help
Able South Carolina wants to remind people with disabilities that they can help in navigating housing issues. They can provide skills related to living more independently in the community, guidance on filling out housing applications, help with budgeting for affordability, searching for housing and accessible places as needed, communicating and advocating with the landlord, and assistive technology to support independence in the home. To qualify for services, an individual must have a disability or other health condition; be currently renting, homeless, or at risk of homelessness; and meet certain income requirements. Call 803-779-5121 or email info@able-sc.org to see if you qualify and get started.
