Award is the last of this year
Union County Schools Superintendent Joey Haney handed out the final Golden Buzz Award of the school year on Tuesday. He visited Sims Middle School to present the honor to the district’s Adaptive PE Coach, Sydney Lawson.
Haney talked about some of the things Lawson has done and brought to the district:

The Union County School District wants to thank all of the community partners who have helped to sponsor the Golden Buzz Award this year. Hometown Ink provides a t-shirt to each winner, and a different community sponsor provides a gift card of some sort each month. This month’s sponsor was Smith’s Backhoe and Construction. Other sponsors have included Computers Plus, Hearts Family Restaurant, Keepsake Jewelers, Luxe Beauty Lounge, M&E Welding and Grading, New Horizon Realty, and Phil’s Steakhouse.
