Event to benefit Union County Meals on Wheels
American Legion Post 22 is hosting an end-of-the-year benefit at the Veterans Lodge at Foster Park. Titled “Soiree at the Lodge”, the event is raising money for Union County Meals on Wheels. It is set for New Year’s Eve, this Saturday, December 31. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., with a steak dinner at 8. Tipsy Running bands will be sold for $25. There will be a champagne toast at midnight, which is provided. A single ticket is $35, and a couples ticket will be $60. It is a semi-formal event, and you must be 21 or older to attend. There will be a DJ on hand to provide music. If you want to enjoy the event without dinner, stop in after 9 p.m. Cost will be $20 at the door, and you can still buy a Tipsy Running band for $25.
