Gun stolen from vehicle at Dixie Curb Market
Another theft from a vehicle was reported to Union Public Safety on Friday. A man walked in to the Public Safety Headquarters Friday afternoon and stated that someone had stolen a firearm from his vehicle. He said he went to Dixie Curb Market around 4 p.m. Friday to get some chips. He parked on the far-right side of the parking lot near Union Boulevard. He stated he did not lock his doors, because he was just planning to run in and run out. After making his purchase, he went home. When he went to get his gun out of the glove compartment, he noticed it was gone. He said he believes someone took it from his car while he was at Dixie Curb Market. He said the gun was a black Glock model 22 chambered in .40 S&W. He said it had a blue laser attached to the front rail. The case will be investigated further.
