Arthur State Bank to Serve as Drop-off Location for Stock the Pantry Food Drive

Daniel Prince

United Way of the Piedmont's annual drive collects nonperishable food for area families

Arthur State Bank’s branches in Union and Spartanburg counties are serving as collection points for the United Way of the Piedmont’s annual Stock the Pantry food drive. To gather food donations, the United Way engages local businesses and individuals in giving food items to families in need. Collection bins will be set up in the lobbies of Arthur State Bank’s Union branches on Main Street, Monarch, and West Towne, and in the Spartanburg branches in Chesnee, Spartanburg East, Spartanburg West, Roebuck, Woodruff Main, Woodruff North, and Woodruff South. Community members may drop off food donations until mid-November. They need items such as boxed macaroni and cheese, canned goods, cereal, chili beans, grits, juices, pre-packaged snacks and chips, potatoes, rice, soups, and spaghetti, along with other items like paper towels, soap, and toilet paper.
