Coroner's Office says no foul play suspected
The Union County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that one man has died in a shooting incident. According to Captain Scott Coffer, the Union County Sheriff’s Office responded Wednesday night at 10:35 p.m. to the 400 block of Pineland Road for a shooting incident. Upon arrival, a white male was found lying in the roadway, deceased from a gunshot wound. Investigators and the Union County Coroner’s Office responded and began to gather evidence and speak to witnesses. The investigation is ongoing.
