Buffalo Elementary School will host an informational session on autism awareness. The free event is titled Understanding the Behavior of Children with Autism. The session will be led by Dr. Lisa Kershaw with the Office of Special Education Services. The informational session will deal with understanding and supporting the behavior of children with autism. It is for families with children of all ages. The session will take place at Buffalo Elementary on Monday, November 15, at 6 p.m. Refreshments will be provided, and door prizes will be given out.
