Caldwell faces multiple drug charges

A Buffalo man faces several charges in connection with distributing fentanyl. 31-year-old Mark Anthony Caldwell faces five counts of distribution of a controlled substance and two counts of distribution of a controlled substance near a school.

The arrest warrants from the Union Public Safety Department don’t give many details, but on October 21, Caldwell is accused of distributing fentanyl to someone while on Wimbleton Rd. in Union. He is accused of distributing fentanyl to someone while on North Duncan Bypass the next day, October 22. On November 1, Caldwell is again accused of distributing fentanyl on Wimbleton Rd.

On November 15 and 17, Caldwell is accused of distributing fentanyl to someone while at 513 North Duncan Bypass, which is Walmart’s address. Walmart is located within half a mile of Union Christian Day School, so that led to the additional charges of distribution while near a school. Caldwell was arrested by the sheriff’s office and booked into Union County Jail on Thursday.
