Event was rescheduled due to rain earlier in the month
This weekend, Buffalo will be the site for a family-friendly event featuring backyard BBQ cookers, vendors, a costume contest, bounce house, cruise-in, and more. The event, titled Butts in Buffalo, was originally scheduled for the beginning of the month but was postponed due to the weather. WBCU News spoke with one of the event organizers, Mark Brock, about everything going on:

Brock said four teams have signed up to cook so far. For those wanting to enter as BBQ cookers, the rules state that meat can be prepared at home but must be cooked on site between midnight and noon on Saturday. Turn-in for meat will be at noon sharp on Saturday. Any backyard competitors are welcome to enter. For information or an application to be a cooker or vendor for the event, contact Mark Brock or Michael Tucker on Facebook. You can also get more information through the Butts in Buffalo Facebook page. The event will be held at the old Buffalo Mill site in the lower parking lot area.
