Lawn chairs, chainsaw, trail camera, and generators also taken
An Alabama man and a man from Boiling Springs reported a larceny at a hunting property in Union County. On Friday, Deputy Charles Nicholson responded to a hunting property on John Hart Road near the intersection of Mud Bridge Road. He spoke with the victims, who stated that the camper they use while at the land was stolen sometime between last Tuesday and Friday. The complainant stated that another member of the hunt club was at the property Tuesday evening, and when the complainant arrived Friday afternoon, the camper was gone, and the gate had been forced open. Other items were discovered to be stolen, as well. Two lawn chairs, a chainsaw, a trail camera, and three gas-powered generators had been taken from the property. The value of the stolen items was more than $10,000. Nicholson issued the men a victim’s form, and the sheriff’s office is investigating the incident.
