A venue change has been announced for the upcoming county-wide Career Day, sponsored by the Union County Development Board and the Union County School District. On Thursday, March 30, approximately 2800 students in grades 4-12 will fill Union County High School for Career Day. The event will last from 8:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. The Union County Development Board is requesting that local industries, small businesses, and government entities join in to demonstrate the careers that make your organization thrive. Exhibit booths will be available as well as outdoor space to demonstrate heavy equipment. Those interested are asked to fill out a participation form and return it to the UCDB no later than February 24.
They also have sponsorship opportunities available. Business logo and brand information will appear in the home of every student who attends the event. The UCDB says that from a business standpoint, no resource is as important as the human resource. This event is being put on to ensure that our students have the knowledge base to excel as productive members of the Union County business community. For more information, contact the Development Board at 864-319-1097.
