They are accepting household trash, bulk items, e-waste, and tires

Today marks Union County’s first Spring Cleaning Community Cleanup Day. It will take place this morning in the Town of Carlisle from 8-noon. Safety materials will be provided. They will be accepting household trash, bulk items, electronic waste, and tires. If you would like to volunteer to help with this or any of the other community cleanup days, contact Tiffany Lancaster at 466-4712. Other cleanup days on the schedule are Friday, April 21, from 8-noon at the Town of Jonesville and Hwy. 176; Friday, May 19, from 8-noon in the Hwy. 176/Whitmire Hwy. area; and Friday, June 23, from 8-noon in the Town of Lockhart and Hwy. 9 and 49 areas.
