67 tires, numerous bags of trash collected
The first Spring Cleaning Community Clean Up event took place in Carlisle Friday morning, and by all accounts was successful. WBCU News caught up with County Recycling Coordinator Tiffany Black Lancaster after the event, and she talked about some of what was done:

The litter pickup wasn’t limited just to the town of Carlisle, as the county had litter crews picking up trash all along the Santuc-Carlisle Highway into the afternoon. The next community cleanup day is set for Friday, April 21, from 8-noon in the Town of Jonesville and along Highway 176.
