Center for Rehabilitative Medicine Receives Three-Year Accreditation

Center receives highest possible accreditation

Spartanburg Regional’s Center for Rehabilitative Medicine was accredited in early September for a period of three years for its inpatient rehabilitation program. The center is located at the Mary Black Campus had been previously accredited by the group. The three-year accreditation represents the highest level of accreditation that can be given to an organization and shows that the organization substantially conforms to the CARF standards.

The Center for Rehabilitative Medicine put itself through a rigorous peer-review process and demonstrated to a team of surveyors its commitment to offering programs and services that are measurable, accountable, and of the highest quality. The organization specializes in treating patients with a number of conditions, including Lou Gehrig’s Disease, amputations, arthritis, stroke, heart conditions, leg or hip fractures, head trauma, hip, knee, or other joint replacements, and many more.
