Polar Express will be this year's theme
While Halloween is not yet here, plans for Christmas events are going on. The Union County Chamber of Commerce has announced the date and theme for this year’s Christmas parade. The Polar Express Christmas Parade will take place on Friday, December 2, at 6 p.m. Participants are encouraged to decorate in keeping with the theme for a chance to win cash prizes. Registration forms for the parade can be picked up at the Chamber of Commerce at 135 West Main Street, or you can download it from the chamber’s website, unionsc.com. The parade will be broadcast live on Facebook, as well as on WBCU. Sponsorships are available, with levels ranging from $100 to $500. Contact the Chamber of Commerce for details.
