Clear Bag Policy Goes Into Effect This Friday Night

Daniel Prince

Union County's home opener is against Gaffney

With Union County High School’s first varsity home game this Friday against Gaffney, the Union County School District wants to remind everyone of the clear bag policy that is in effect. They also want those attending to plan to be checked by a metal detecting wand upon entry into the stadium. Loitering around the gates and concession areas will not be permitted. One entry and exit is permitted per person, with no re-entry allowed unless with a new ticket. Movement between the home and visitor sides will not be allowed this season. Guests will enter at the lower gate near the fairgrounds. Students not in high school will not be permitted inside the gates unless they are accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older. Elementary and middle school students should not be dropped off unaccompanied under any circumstances.
