County Council Committees to Discuss Fairgrounds, Burn Ordinance

Meetings to start at 5:30 at 103 West Main Street

The Union County Council Committee on Law Enforcement, Judiciary, and Recreation will meet this afternoon at 5:30 p.m. in the conference room of the Union County Community Development and Tourism Office at 103 West Main Street. They will be discussing the Stadium Commission and Fair Board.

Immediately following, the Union County Council Committee on Planning and Development will meet to discuss a burn ordinance and an ordinance pertaining too establishing deployment fees for fire protection. Both ordinances were discussed at a meeting earlier in the month, but there were some loose ends that remained to be discussed. The public is invited to the committee meetings.
