County Council to Hold Another Budget Work Session Tonight

Council to meet for fourth straight week to continue work on budget

Union County Council will meet for the fourth straight week tonight, as they hold a third budget work session. The meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. in the Grand Jury Room of the Union County Court House. Mark Wade will make a presentation on behalf of the Union County Fire Service. After that, Supervisor Phillip Russell will present the budget requests from the various county departments. The public is invited to attend. The budget will receive second reading next week at the regular Union County Council meeting.
