Committee meeting set for 4:00 ahead of the full council meeting
The Union County Council Committee on Public Works, Roads, Bridges, and County Property will meet today at 4 p.m. in the Meeting Room at 103 West Main Street. The public is invited to attend. The committee is expected to discuss requests to take in several roads into the county road system. They also are expected to hear from the Public Works Department and the county engineer on road-related issues.
At 5:30 p.m., the full Union County Council will meet for a special called meeting in the Meeting Room at 103 West Main Street. Council will consider any recommendations from the Public Works, Roads, Bridges, and County Property Committee coming from their meeting. They will hold first reading in title only of an ordinance to adopt a Comprehensive Plan for Union County. They will also consider a capital request for computers. The public is invited to attend.
