Couple $200,000 Richer After Scratch-Off Lottery Win

Daniel Prince

Winning ticket came from Lil Cricket store on South Duncan Bypass

A Union County couple, or at least we assume it is a Union County couple, won $200,000 in the SC Education Lottery. The lottery announced Wednesday that the winning couple is keeping their win, and even their plans for what to do with the money, a secret. All we know is that a Upstate couple purchased a $5 Fiery 5s scratch-off at the Lil Cricket store at 1241 South Duncan Bypass in Union. Odds of winning the top prize were 1 in 750,000. There are no more top prizes available in the Fiery 5s scratch-off game. The Lil Cricket store was a winner, also, as they received a $2000 commission for selling the winning ticket.
