COVID Forces Library to Temporarily Close to the Public

COVID issues has forced the Union County Carnegie Library to temporarily close. Due to staff exposure to COVID, and the fact that they are a small staff who works closely with the public, they made the decision to close the library effective yesterday and remain closed through Monday, January 17. They plan to reopen at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday morning after disinfecting the facility to ensure the safety of the public and the library team. In the meantime, library staff will continue to be available by chat from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. while they are closed. Visit unionlibrary.org/chat-with-a-librarian.
