Tommy Anthony will not run for reelection to City Council

Today at noon is the nonpartisan filing deadline for the November general election. City Council District 1 representative Tommy Anthony sent out a message Friday afternoon stating that he has decided not to run for reelection to his seat. He said in the statement, “I’ve enjoyed the eight years I’ve served on District One.
