First and second shots, boosters available
DHEC will be offering another COVID vaccination event this Friday at Foster Park Elementary School. It will go from 10 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. and is open to anyone ages 5 and older. They will have first shots, second shots, and booster shots available from Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson.
As a reminder, tomorrow (Thursday, January 13) from 11-2, USC Union is partnering with the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Spartanburg to host their second COVID-19 Wellness Event. While it is being geared to college students, the event is open to the public. VCOM will be sharing information on the vaccines, and they will have the Moderna, Pfizer, and Johnson & Johnson vaccines and boosters to any who want them. Free lunch will be provided, as the Mac Attack food truck will be on hand. Those who are already fully vaccinated or receive the vaccine can get a t-shirt, as well. The event will be held in the Truluck Gym at 103 North Church Street on campus at USC Union.
