The school district also announced it is accepting nominations for the Golden Buzz Award for 2021-2022. The announcement states, “If you know a Union County Schools employee who positively impacts the lives of our children, contributes to making our county a better place, and goes above and beyond to help our district strive for excellence, please nominate them so that we can highlight their contributions and give them the recognition they so rightfully deserve.” A link to the nomination form is available on the school district’s Facebook page at facebook.com/ucsdsc or on their website at www.union.k12.sc.us.
