Stephen Jennings Day scheduled at Pacolet River Baptist Association

The District Fine Arts Night program was dedicated to the memory of Stephen L. Jennings, who was killed in a wreck on Whitmire Highway on his way to Sims Middle School last month. A table with a candle and his photo was set up on stage next to the podium and remained in the spotlight all evening. Ralph Lawson had this to say about Jennings as the program began:

The Pacolet River Baptist Association will be holding Stephen Lee Jennings Day this Sunday, May 29, at 3:30 p.m. The day of celebration and remembrance will be held at the association building, located at 168 Lovers Lane Road in Union.
