Early Release Day for School Coming Up

Four early release days are scheduled this semester

The Union County School District wants to remind everyone that the third of six scheduled early release days for this school year is coming up. The early release days were built in the calendar to allow for professional development opportunities throughout the year without having to miss an entire day of instruction. On Wednesday, January 11, elementary schools will dismiss at 12:15 p.m. Middle schools will dismiss at 12:45 p.m., and Union County High School will dismiss at 1 p.m. Students will receive lunch at school. All early release days this year are scheduled on Wednesdays. Other early release days will be February 8, March 8, and April 19.
