Ellen Sagar Nursing Center is hosting Walk-in Wednesday, a hiring event for certified nursing assistants at the center. Managers will be available for interviews this Wednesday, September 7, from 2-5 p.m. at Ellen Sagar, at 1817 Jonesville Highway in Union. They plan to hold these hiring events the first Wednesday of every month. Flexible scheduling is offered, including 8-hour and 12-hour shifts. They are offering a $5000 sign-on bonus for CNAs. They offer $16.40 an hour for new grad CNAs, with premium pay for nights, weekends, and weekend nights. There is a commitment bonus for full-time CNAs for the first 12 months of full-time employment. They are also offering a referral bonus of $1500 for every hired CNA that you refer to them.
If you are not yet a CNA, you can come out to the event Wednesday from 2-5 p.m., meet the hiring leaders, and register for their CNA course. It is a tuition-free, 8-week course. Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System will cover the cost for tuition, books, one uniform, and the application and exam fees for the SC Board Registry.
