Fallen Tree Leads to Power Outages Across City

Outage lasts a little more than an hour

A portion of the city and surrounding areas were without power for around an hour Sunday evening. High winds made a tree fall in the Union Boulevard area, taking down the circuit serving much of the east side of town. City crews worked quickly to restore service, which was interrupted shortly before 6 p.m. and restored around 7 p.m.
