Clothes, shoes, and unknown items reported stolen
Four more storage units have been reported as being broken into, as well. The owner of Small’s Storage on West Hillcrest Avenue reported that two units were broken into Tuesday morning between 4 and 5 a.m. He provided PFC Cody Hill with snapshots of the suspect from a trail camera that was set up on the property. He said he did not think anything was stolen from the units, but there were obvious signs of forced entry to the locking mechanism. The owners of the units were to be notified. A woman reported that her unit at the new Small’s Storage location on Thompson Boulevard had been broken into. She said she went to check on her belongings in storage and noticed the lock was gone and the door was open. She said she found some of her items in two other units with the doors open to those units. She said the lock that had been on her unit was gone, and two totes full of clothes and shoes were missing. On Wednesday, a woman reported that her storage unit on West Hillcrest Avenue was broken into. She said the unit had been full, and now there was a void where things were missing. She was not able to tell what was missing from the unit. These cases have all been sent to investigations.
