Fundraiser Planned for Young Man Battling Cancer

Vendors, cruise-in, silent auction, food trucks, live music, and wrestling event all planned

A fundraising event is planned at the fairgrounds next week to raise money for a young man battling cancer. Jacob’s June Jamboree will be held on Saturday, June 11, at the fairgrounds from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. The event will feature a variety of vendors, a cruise-in, sponsored by the Show-N-Shine Cruiser Car Club, a silent auction, food trucks, and live music. A monetary donation is requested at the gate for entry. In addition, Pro Wrestling Union will hold a wrestling event at the fairgrounds that day at 5:30 p.m. Admission to that will be $5. The money will go to Jacob Casey to help in his fight against cancer.
