Groups Partner for School Supply Drive and Hot Dog Sale

Union County Community Remembrance Project and USC Union hosting the event

The Union County Community Remembrance Project, USC Union, and the LW Long Community Resource Center are hosting a Back-to-School hot dog cookout and school supply drive. The goal of the event is to raise funds to purchase school supplies for children within Union County. In addition to raising funds, donations of school supplies would also be greatly appreciated. The event will be held on Saturday, July 23, from 6-8 pm at the LW Long Community Resource Center, located at 213 West Main Street in Union.
WBCU spoke with Caden Jackson, a student at USC Union and an intern with the Union County Community Remembrance Project, and here are his comments:
