Nomination forms due January 14 by 3:30 p.m.
As a reminder, the nomination period is still open for the gifted and talented arts classes at Union County High School for the 2022-2023 school year. Students may be nominated by teachers, parents, or friends. They may also nominate themselves. Nomination forms have been sent home with each student in grades 8-11. The form must be emailed to gtart@union.k12.sc.us no later than 3:30 p.m. on Friday, January 14.
The arts screening is a four-step process that includes nomination, arts teacher screening, school audition, and final district audition. School screenings will take place the week of January 24-28, with the district audition coming soon afterward.
The GT Arts Program begins at Union County High School for rising 9th-12th-grade students. The high school offers GT Music, GT Art, and GT Drama.
