The high school football season starts one week from Friday, as the Union County Yellow Jackets will travel to Newberry to open the season. Union County’s first home game will be Friday, August 26, against Gaffney. Those wanting reserved tickets, reserved parking, and Booster Club membership need to get in touch with Vicki Cobb McCully as soon as possible. If you have had previous season tickets, parking, and Booster Club membership, they are holding them for you through this Friday, August 12. After that, they will go on sale to the public. Reserved season tickets are $40, reserved parking is $60, and Booster Club membership is $25. Call Vicki Cobb McCully at 426-1237 or 427-1851.
