Jarvis Andrew Jeter faces multiple charges, including attempted murder
A Jonesville man has been arrested and charged in the shooting incident at the Jonesville Mini Mart on Furman Fendley Highway back on November 14. That Sunday at 5:22 p.m., deputies responded to a report of a shooting. Deputies were told that an altercation occurred at the gas pumps, and a vehicle and a male subject had been hit by gunfire. During the course of the investigation, the Union County Sheriff’s Office determined that 31-year-old Jarvis Andrew Jeter, of 101 C Street in Jonesville, was responsible for the shooting. Jeter was arrested without incident on Alman Street in Jonesville Tuesday afternoon at 3:15 p.m. Jeter is charged with attempted murder, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, malicious damage, and driving under suspension, first offense.
