Library Announces Event Schedule for the Week

Weekly story time, Time for Harvest craft bags, and virtual STEAM events planned

The Union County Library System has three events scheduled this week. Tuesday’s Storytime will be at 10 a.m. It will be an in-person event for ages birth to age 4. The next craft pick-up date will be Tuesday, as well. Stop by the library from 4-6 p.m. to pick up the Time for Harvest craft bags. They are available to be picked up downstairs in the children/teen area. On Thursday, the library will host the virtual Let’s Talk About Steam event featuring Kelton and Spencer. The topic will be Why Do Pine Cones Open and Close? It will be posted to the library’s Facebook page and YouTube channel at 4 p.m. Thursday.
