Library system has three jobs available
The Union County Library System has been awarded a Community Investment grant by United Way of the Piedmont to support Union County cancer patients. After Union Cancer Services dissolved in 2021, the organization passed its assets to the library system to continue providing this vital resource to clients in Union County. Since the transition, all donated funds have been used toward cancer services in Union County, from providing nutritional supplements to transportation and fuel reimbursement for out-of-county medical appointments. To learn more about the services they provide, call the library at 427-7140 or email resources@unionlibrary.org.
The library has three job openings right now. They are looking for a full-time Social Services Coordinator, a part-time program assistant, and a part-time library assistant. To view the job descriptions, visit unionlibrary.org/employment. There is a link to the employment application there, as well.
