Winter reading challenge continues
The Union County Library System has three events planned this week. First is this morning’s Tuesday Storytime, an in-person event for ages birth to 4. It will begin at the library at 10 a.m. This afternoon from 4-6 p.m. is craft pick-up. Pick up craft bags from the downstairs children and teen area. The theme is Holidays at the Library, and the bags will contain assorted crafts. Bags are free and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Thursday will be the virtual Let’s Talk About STEAM program with Kelton and Spencer. It will be posted to the library’s Facebook page and YouTube channel at 4 p.m. Thursday.
Don’t forget to enter the library’s Cozy Up to a Good Book winter reading challenge. It is a challenge for all ages and runs through January 2nd. Pick up a reading log from the library and turn it in by January 7th to be eligible for prizes. Prizes will be drawn on January 10. For more information, call 427-7140 or email info@unionlibrary.org.
