Free will preparation and health care powers of attorney will be offered to low-income individuals
The Union County Library System is once again partnering with the University of South Carolina School of Law and the South Carolina Bar to bring the Palmetto Leader mobile office back to Union. The mobile office will be at the Union County Carnegie Library on Friday, November 4, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. They will be offering free will preparation and free health care powers of attorney. They will also have lawyers and law students on hand to answer legal questions. Appointments are not needed. There is an income-based screening process, as the free services are intended for those whose income does not exceed 200% of the federal poverty level.
