Library to Reopen Today After COVID Shutdown

Daniel Prince

Opening time will be delayed due to road conditions

The Union County Carnegie Library is reopening today at 1 p.m. The delayed opening is due to the road conditions. They have been closed since early last week due to staff exposure to COVID. When they reopen today, they will have disinfected the facility to ensure the safety of the public and the library team.

Due to the late opening, Tuesday Storytime will not be held in-person today as it normally would be at 10 a.m. However, the library will host a book club interest meeting today at 4 p.m. at the library. The meeting is for tweens ages 10-13. Ms. Raven will host the tween book club. The club will choose a book as a group and discuss it through games and trivia. Snacks and books will be provided.

The virtual Toddler Time is scheduled for tomorrow at 10 a.m. The video will be posted on the library’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.
