Public Safety Officer said drug problem, lack of things for young people to do go hand-in-hand
At the community brainstorming session hosted by the Love Thy Neighbor Initiative at Grace United Methodist Church Tuesday, the third major topic they talked about was the opioid and fentanyl problem in Union County. The group will be setting up a community meeting with a lady from the state to talk about the problem more in depth.
Dylan Beheler with the Union Public Safety Department, said the problem and the lack of things to do for young people go hand-in-hand:

Beheler said we have to let young people know that family isn’t found in the streets, but in our churches and communities, and we all need to work together to provide things for them to do to keep them off the streets and out of trouble.
