Low Blood Supply Leads to Greater Rewards for Donors

Bloodmobile will be at Walmart today and Friday

The blood supply in the area is low once again, creating an urgent need for blood donations. To encourage folks to give, The Blood Connection is offering 2000 bonus points to all donors. The points are good for a $50 eGift card, in addition to the normal $20 eGift card that all donors receive. The Blood Connection will have its bloodmobile set up in the Walmart parking lot today from 12-8 p.m. They will be back on Friday from 2-7 p.m. at Walmart. Blood donor turnout has been very low over the past several months, potentially putting patients’ lives at risk.
