Main Street Holiday Kickoff Event Announced

Entertainers, vendors, Truck Full of Toys, and Stroll With Santa among the highlights

Historic Downtown Union will present the Main Street Holiday Kickoff on Thursday, November 18, from 5-8 p.m. Vendors, entertainment, and activities will be taking place from the courthouse to Kimbrell’s Furniture. Stroll With Santa is scheduled from 5-7 p.m. The tree lighting and sing-along is scheduled at 7:30 at the courthouse. 11 different entertainers have already signed up, including school groups, church groups, dance groups, and a karate group. Many businesses along Main Street will be open for shopping. 26 different vendors have signed up to be on hand during the event.

WBCU will officially kick off our annual Truck Full of Toys campaign that night and encourages anyone coming to the event to stop by with a new, unwrapped toy for a Union County boy or girl, or to make a monetary donation to the cause. We will broadcast live from the event that evening.
